Agnes Talamantez Carrol

Agnes Talamantez Carroll is the President and CEO of Agnes Talamantez Carroll & Associates LLC, a minority, woman-owned and entrepreneurial training resource for small businesses. She brings with her extensive business management and administration experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors and has owned and operated several private companies over a period of 30 years, including a management consulting/training firm and a marketing group.

With over 30 years of experience in small business development, Agnes’ expertise includes financial literacy education and training for the socially and economically disadvantaged.

Ms. Talamantez Carroll was the Vice President of the Business Development Centers for Mi Casa Resource Center for Women, Inc. Agnes has also worked in a training consultation capacity for Moneygram International providing coaching and workshops and has delivered FDIC approved financial literacy training in the Western U.S. to low-income populations.  

Agnes gained national recognition in 1995 when First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton visited her classroom at Mi Casa Resource Center for Women in Denver (a non-profit organization that empowers Latino families to achieve lasting economic stability) to observe a best practice small business training and peer lending program in progress — the only one of its kind at the time in the country. In 2000, Agnes was awarded the “Women in Business Advocate of the Year” by the United States Small Business Administration and The Denver Business Journal also honored her with their prestigious “Outstanding Woman in Business” award that same year.

Notably in 2006, the Archdiocese of Denver and Centro San Juan Diego (a Hispanic Institute for Family and Pastoral Care), awarded her with the “La Madrina Award” — the “Godmother” of the Hispanic community – for her education and training work with Hispanic immigrants to help integrate them into American society. Also in 2006, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Denver, the largest minority chamber in the western region of the U.S, recognized her work by awarding her with the “Bernard Valdez Hispanic Heritage Community Service Award.” She was awarded the prestigious “Minority Enterprise Week Advocate of the Year 2009”, and again in 2010, at a regional and national level. Additionally, she was chosen to represent her professional community in the 2010 Edition of “Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals.” Also in these same two years, she was a finalist for the “Hispanic Adult Leadership Award” given by the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club. For 10 years she produced and hosted a radio program, “¡Arriba Mi Negocio!” which aired each week on KBJD 1650AM, Radio Luz, where she was known as “Doña Inéz.” 

Ms. Carroll is also certified by FastTracks and was a contributing author of the NXLevel Entrepreneurial Training Curriculum developed by the University of Colorado, where she interned under Dr. Robert Horn in Community Economic Development.  Agnes brings with her extensive experience in training, motivational speaking and innovation, together with her passion for best business practices, and her personal mission to empower others.

Terry Kollman

With over 35 years in the advertising, media and television industries, Mr.
Kollman has held a number of management positions with major advertising agencies such as Leo Burnett and Wells Rich Greene. His work with ABC-
TV, Katz and TeleRep has provided extensive experience in television sales
management and TV production.

In 1986, Terence J. Kollman formed The Charter Group, an association
of full services companies specializing in marketing, advertising, promotion
and television production. Charter Digital Media (CDM), one of the
business segments of The Charter Group, was established in 2005 as a
national sales representative in the digital display-marketing arena. CDM
was a result of Mr. Kollman’s involvement in the out-of-home industry and
his business performance in both traditional and non-traditional media.

As President & CEO of Charter Digital Media, Mr. Kollman has positioned
CDM as an independent advertising representative with established presence
in the recognized media centers of New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.
CDM currently represents national, regional and local digital media as well
as private advertising-supported television networks.

In his career, Mr. Kollman has consistently
demonstrated prudent and entrepreneurial judgment securing capital to start
up businesses like Pro Media and The Charter Group. With his in-depth
expertise and broad industry experience, Mr. Kollman is confidently steering
CDM to new growth and business opportunities.

Holika Castillo

Holika Castillo is a CPA from Universidad Panamericana in Mexico, she completed her Masters in Administration at Regis University in Denver, CO. Holika has been working in the banking sector since 2002 holding different positions assisting people with their personal and business finances. She joined Ms Talamantez Carroll team as a business consultant providing seminars at Centro San Juan Diego and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Together they hosted the radio show “Arriba Mi Negocio” providing guidance and interviewing successful hispanic business owners in the Denver area. She has also volunteered at Mi Casa Resources for Women in Denver assisting low-income families with their tax returns and at Colorado Housing Authority providing training for first time homebuyers.

Holika’s passion has always been to help individuals, families and businesses to thrive through education and entrepreneurship. She has also been a mentor for SCORE and for the Mexican Consulate in Miami. She obtained a certificate from MITx on Business and Impact Planning for Social Enterprises and from University of Michigan on Effective Leadership for Community Engagement. She serves as a board member for AEDRA International and as Women Leadership Chair at United Nations Association Broward Chapter.

Guadalupe Moran

Guadalupe Moran is currently a service support manager in the Mining and Hydropower Industry. She is a professional with over 30 years of experience in international trade and business management. Guadalupe is committed to supporting the small business community by sharing her experience and knowledge in different areas of business.

Hugo Amador

Born in Mexico City, Hugo studied architecture at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Azcapotzalco Campus.
He has participated in various public and private construction projects during the last 20
years. During the years 2009 to 2012, he served as assistant to the Mexican Consul General,
collaborator in various areas at the Consulate General of Mexico in Denver and the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
He has had International participation in various meetings of young Catholics in Rome,
Italy and Cologne, Germany.
In love with the great cultural wealth of Mexico, gastronomy, art and music.
Promoter of the causes of the common good and service to others.
