We had the opportunity to learn from Arturo, a hard-working young man who lives in the rural area of Zacatlán in the State of Puebla, Mex. Arturo has a disability but despite all obstacles, he was able to start a mini-mart in his community. He told us he studied engineering but due to his disability he was not able to keep the job he was offered. He also sings at his local church along with his father.
We supported him economically so he can buy a slicer so he can sell ham, cheeses and other cold cuts. We are confident he will be able to keep growing his business and also to assist others in his community. He love and admire people like him, with a strong sense of purpose and determination. Here is a brief video of him.
